wrapping paper

I rant about this every year, and this year is no exception. I checked two different stores today, looking for some good Christmas wrapping paper. I don’t want paper with santa claus or christmas trees or “Happy Holidays”, “Seasons Greetings”, or snowmen and puppies. I don’t want winter paper, I want Christmas paper!

Would it be that hard to print up some paper with some angels on it? Maybe a little nativity scene? After all, the gifts it’d be wrapping are being given to the glory of God. Yes, God. How difficult would that be? Even just “Merry Christmas!” But no.

I thought I might have finally found something when I saw some rolled-up angels at a local store. But when I got closer, I realized they were all holding up signs with secular phrases. More “Seasons Greetings” crap.

Hello – I’m giving Christmas gifts here people. I’d really like to find some wrapping paper that owns up to that.

    I concur!! I’ve found it harder and harder to locate…so sad. I did, however, find 3 different kinds (after scouring many stores for months) at Walmart. One had a small manger scene, one had a 3 kings theme and the last one had Mary and baby. It was in the #1.96 bin with the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital ad on the box. Hope you can find it. I bought all I could from 6 stores. God bless. Gigi

    I AGREE! I am going crazy trying to find some traditional, CHRISTMAS wrapping paper with the nativity scene and not snowmen and Santa. It is driving me crazy! God bless.

    I found some this year at a Walmart in San Diego, CA. One was a baby in a manger with a lamb nearby, and the other was blue with a manger scene. I bought all I could get home in my suitcase. I looked in 3 other walmarts in my home state and couldn’t find any more.

    so glad to see others feel the same way as I do about Christmas wrap and other things “Christmas”. I try to wrap all my gifts with some sort of nativity paper and also have had a very hard time finding any. I even went to religious stores and NONE. This year there is one in the “current” catalog.

    Amen – I can only find it at Christian bookstores – really frustating – like you said it’s CHRISTmas – Kim in St. Louis
