They are our loved ones, neighbors or fellow citizens who back their cars into the garage so they can be ready at a moments notice to respond to a call for help from another of our loved ones, neighbors or fellow citizens. Thank You, Gracias, Dankschen, Merci to all of these dedicated men and women who leave the comfort of their homes to serve their communities in such an important way. A suggestion from the very proud aunt of a very dedicated EMT: Let that siren be a reminder to whisper a prayer for the responders and those who they’re responding to.
