You make an excellent point, because ultimately the &quot;community&quot; that Gumstix serves is defined by your customer base - and that&#039;s a worldwide community, not a local one like an industrial-age company might serve. So while I said &quot;I don&#039;t necessarily agree 100%&quot;, I think the number is really right around 99.9%, and that .1% holdout will always be there as a nostalgic holdout from having watched &lt;em&gt;It&#039;s a Wonderful Life&lt;/em&gt; one too many times... :)</description>

		<description>While I agree that it&#039;s nice for a company to &quot;give back&quot; with jobs, doing so inefficiently (that is, hiring people who don&#039;t need to be hired) helps nobody.  Focusing on not wasting resources means instead that we can &quot;give back&quot; by reducing our product prices, which is actually giving precisely to those people who are buying our product!</description>
