The ’800 kit normally sells for $199. At work, we keep one bolted to our “EE rapid response cart” for doing light soldering work. For those of us who’ve pined for a Metcal of our very own, ever since we tried our first one up on the lofty peak of Mt. Greylock, this deal is hard to beat!
(Unless you go the route I went, and nab an SP-200 off eBay…)
