What do you learn when you go out mountain-biking in December, when the temperature is a balmy 32°? Let’s see…

  • Snow is slippery.
  • Camelbak hoses can produce Slurpees!
  • SPD pedals like to collect snow, mud and ice.
  • Mud is slippery.
  • Falling is cold.
  • Breathing denser cold air doesn’t do squat to help you catch your breath.
  • Beer tastes just as good when your toes are freezing off as it does during the summer!

Tune in next time, and maybe I’ll be able to tell you a little something about Egg Beaters
