Ever been on the fence about doing something, then tossed caution to the wind and jumped in at the last minute? Maybe it was a stop at the bar with friends after work, booking tickets for an on-a-whim vacation, or signing onto a petition. Your first impression says “meh” and you err on the side of indifference, but just before the window of opportunity closes, you decide to go for it.

That’s sort of how it went with this blog and my discovery of Project52. Back in October, I consciously decided not to participate in NaBloPoMo 2009 (and apparently I wasn’t alone in that decision) because life is just too busy right now. But a post a week? I think I can handle that. So keep tuned in here as we enter 2010 – it may not be pretty, it may not be literary, and it may not be inspired, but I’ll do my best to put up something interesting or comment-worthy or just plain fun at least once a week…
